· Extensive
experience with a wide variety of telecommunications equipment with
multi-functioning signals and multi-tasking abilities.
· Ability to
complete jobs with exceptional quality while also navigating between
multiple different customers, and their divers standards that each require.
· History
working includes, but is not limited to, Central Offices, remote huts,
CEV's, MTSO's, Collocate, Cabinets, Regen Huts, etc.
· Ability to
be in-Charge of jobs, lead and provide work assignments for Level 1, 2 and
3 installers.
· Communicate
with the customer on all aspects of the job throughout the duration of the
job
· Supervision
on job-site of subcontractor workers
· Reading and
understanding of blueprint, schematics, job spec's, and method of
procedures.
· Inventory
all job related materials and assist with inventory control as required.
Perform power verification, power up of equipment and acceptance checks on
equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
· Interface
with Supervisor, Project Manager, and Engineering to resolve any issues.
Correct on site job specifications, drawings, documentation.
· Communicate
job specific details with co-workers routinely and effectively via both
written and oral avenues.
· Locating,
comprehending, and following specific equipment, and job drawings, and
TP's.
· Ability to
find, understand, and determine out of several choices the correct
standards, and drawings associated with specific customers and equipment.
· Installation
of aux bar, cable rack, and fiber duct. Mounting bays, frames, cabinets and
equipment within.
· Running,
lacing, labeling, and testing of power, fiber and copper cabling. Power
cabling includes h-taps, inline splicing, and termination to BDFB. Proper
procedure for opening, and closing of cable holes. (Hilti and 3M)
· Prepare all
required customer forms
· Correct
office record drawings
· Perform
in-process and final quality inspections
· Follow all
OSHA & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
